4 days in Vilnius
CraftVILNIUS is already the 3 rd international fair of applied art which invites people to spend four days with contemporary artists of applied art, learn about their creative world and unique works. The event, during which the artists will be brought together into a single community, will seek to highlight the importance of individuality, genuineness, and professionalism and to draw up the guidelines on Lithuanian and global modern applied art and design. Artists from Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, Turkey, Poland, Israel, Russia, Estonia and Germany will present their pieces of work made of textile, glass, furniture, pottery, leather, and jewels.
Craft?
Applied art has its history and deep-rooted traditions. To represent them the participants of CraftVilnius use experience accumulated during ages and in this way create the future. You will find their interpretations of art and craft traditions which are aimed at maintaining the modern pulse of art and the prestige of original, genuine product.
Programme
Visitors of the fair will be able to take part in various workshops, discussions, and exhibitions. For the first time in the history of the fair the part of creative workshops will be oriented towards the deepening of professional artists and improvement of their skills.
